Hi, I'm Masami

Masami-Chic is founded and run by Masami Rung. Born and raised in Japan, Masami has worked as a professional hair stylist and make-up artist in the fashion industry since the late 80s. Working for stylist agencies and freelancing with large, established companies, she lent her talents to film makers, fashion shows, magazines, advertisements, catalogues, etc. Since moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, she continued he work as a hair and make-up artist for marketing and publishing in addition to weddings. 

Mastering the craft early on, Masami is a pioneer of eyelash extensions. She has experience with all types of eyelashes and facial features and firmly believes we are all beautiful in our own way. She also provides microblading -- a craftwork drawn from her years as a make-up artist -- creating natural, refined eyebrow designs. 

Her love for sophisticated, polished, and chic looks sets her apart from her peers. She finds natural beauty in everyone and enhances it. ​
